Stuart Eastman MB chB Qualified from Birmingham University Medical school in 1984. After completing his hospital training he became a full time GP Principal at St Melor Surgery, Amesbury, Wiltshire in 1990. In 2001 he was employed one session a week at Salisbury NHS Foundation Hospital as the GP Lead for Corporate development. This was a new post and has developed into a role that liaises between Primary and Secondary Care. This has included working with the hospital Rheumatology Department and lead to working with that team to establish the DXA service for the locality and the Fracture Liaison service. In 2016 he joined the ROS Clinical and Scientific Committee to give a Primary Care perspective. Stuart retired as a GP Principal in March 2020 after 30 years. He continues to work at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust and will continue to Work in Primary Care as a Locum.
